Lake Pointe Academy
Lake Pointe Academy is a specialized school program designed to provide support in primary & secondary academics with an emphasis in addressing the social, emotional and behavioral skills that are needed for success in traditional educational settings and for greatest independence after graduation.
Our data-driven program is grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and supported through naturalistic positive learning opportunities. Our students are not required to have a "label" or diagnosis. Individuals with Autism Spectrum and ADHD not only thrive but excel in our program.
Inspired to be a resource for concerned parents, Lake Pointe Academy exists to support families who want an exceptional and unique alternative for their children with mild-to-moderate academic, social and behavioral learning differences.
Students who benefit most may have experienced difficulties thriving in previous academic environments and attend LPA’s program for the therapeutic support that allows them to regain their footing in education.
Lake Pointe Academy provides students with confidential, non-stigmatizing support both on a regular and as-needed basis. We ensure a learning environment with positive social interactions concurrent with academic support.
Some LPA students have diagnoses of high-functioning autism, a range of learning disabilities, depression, anxiety, ADHD as well as social anxieties that have been the root of academic struggle and inability to thrive.
Our goal is to provide an environment where students feel comfortable enough to be themselves and where their educational and emotional needs are met.
